Moonlight is an adult female dolphin who is
probably about 10 years old and has a calf called
Mellow Yellow. She is easy to identify as she
has twin notches near the top of her dorsal
fin. She can often be seen with her best friend
Rainbow.

Rainbow is such a playful female. She seems
to cheer the other dolphins so we gave her a
cheerful name. She has two calves.

Named after Ben Nevis, Nevis has a snow white
cap on his dorsal fin. He is a fast swimmer
and likes to chase after salmon, often catching
them in mid-air as they try to escape by leaping
out of the water.

We recognise Sundance from a distinctive nick
on his fin. He is a social dolphin who is often
seen splashing and leaping with others.

Mischief is a very friendly dolphin always in a party mood! We’re still not sure if this lovely dolphin is male or female but Mischief is often seen in big groups and leaping around with well-known dolphins such as Rainbow and Sundance – a real star!

Thunder is a big, powerful adult male with a very laid back and relaxed character, but his strength can be explosive at times! This giant of a dolphin has only ever been seen in the Inner Moray Firth.

Spirit is a gentle dolphin who is devoted to her calf, born in July 2007. A regular visitor around the Inner Moray Firth and Spey Bay, Spirit likes to be in the company of other females who also have calves at their sides.
